Future plans are to have a central data repository in SQL Server. My problem is we don't have a 'proper' internet site set up yet, so how do we distribute Client/Server applications to our outside engineers.

I believe they could use dial up networking, but if we need this to be standalone, then how could we distribute the data for read only access. What could we use for data access engine?

I'm confused, I don't know which way to turn....
