"Using Visual FoxPro 6.0", Que Publications. A lot of people don't like this book because some of the stuff hasn't been updated through the years, but it does start from the ground level. Also think about "The Hacker's Guide to Visual FoxPro 6.0", Hentzenwerke as a good companion volume to look up specific commands and functions.....
>Can anyone recommend a good book for someone who is just starting to learn foxpro and has no real programming experience?
