Thanks for the clue!

It worked! All I was missing was the THISFORM.cboNumber2.Requery
method. When I added that one command after my SQL SELECT and before my THISFORM.cboNumber2.Refresh everything worked like a champ!

I have never had to use the Requery method before now and I've been doing this stuff for about 2 years. It's amazing how many ways there are to do things the wrong way and the right way.
