IMO, and everyone else is entitled to theirs, these are mine,

1) Karl shouldn't have been suspended if<.b> it was because of the quoted profanity (personally I'd have editted it out if it had been my reply). But we don't have a specific reason the UT management decided to suspend the account. I guess I'm waiting to see this "new" policy which should be applied to ALL posts made here, not just Karl's.

2) His subsequent rather childish action of the company name does warrant suspension.

3) The kind of language being thrown around lately doesn't belong here, there are other places where it is acceptable, and folks are free to go there if they so choose.

4) I could curse up a storm with the best of anyone here, I occasionally do aim some at my computer and uncooperative programs, but I choose to exercise a little more self control in a public forum like this.

The last couple of weeks around here just kind of sickens me to think that I couldn't let my nine year old daughter look over my shoulder while I'm reading and replying to messages here like she did sometimes last summer. She got a real kick out of the flags from all over the world. It made for some great conversations with her.

There are better things to do than all of the bickering and name calling that has gone on here of late. In depth discussions of design and development issues are welcome, the schoolyard taunts really are beneath most of the people that are throwing them around.
