I remember seeing the name of a stored procedure that returns the information you're looking for but I was unable to locate the name.

There's an extended stored procedure, xp_enumgroups, that returns the NT groups that have been given access to the server. Try looking-up this xp in the MSKB. Maybe it will lead to the other one that I'm thinking of.
