Edward- I am using 'permanent' relations also. But is there a difference between the relationship that you make manually in the DE and the one that appears automatically when you add two 'permanently' related tables? Are you suggesting that I delete the automatic relationships after I add the tables? When you control the pointers with SEEK, where do you put the code that does it automatically? Or is automatic a bad thing? Thanks again for your help.
