No I haven't. I have heard of it and it sounds interesting. How does it connect to the rest of your world? IOW, do you just transfer some PDFs to it via an infrared port or something? Are you carrying one with you on the road along with your notebook?

I have not totally cracked that process yet... The only thing I could suggest is going through the download process yourself...
>And back to the Guide, would it's being an e-Book help with the need for it to constantly evolve? IOW, if they were updating each topic on a web site, how would that relate to the e-Book? Perhaps some scheduled (weekly?) automation process that assembles the topics from a database into a downloadable file.
I am not sure a weekly frequency is required. Perhaps every 3 months... With e-books, the time lags associated with printing are gone... I think it is the wave of the future.. There are already many tech titles available in ebook form.
The thing is, how the heck do you keep up with pace of new book versions. The cost is getting out of hand. I think tech-books lend themselves to this medium. It is more cost-effective, and , you can annotate the book...
