Thanks Michael and Lorne,
I have a VFP/Oracle app using Oracle 7.3. I am currently using the Oracle ODBC driver. I was able to get the MS driver to access the Oracle tables but we never tried it in the production environment.
We are migrating the database to Oracle 8.1.5. I just got the new Oracle ODBC driver but have not had a chance to test it. Are you using this Oracle ODBC driver? If so, is there anything I should watch out for?
Thanks,
Paul

>LOB stand for Large schema OBjects. Oracle 8i has new data types that allow you to store objects in tables in addition to normal data types. The object data types are called LOBs.
