It may very well be that the discussion in this thread will be more revealing than the age data for my purposes -- which basically are concerned with my attempt to *understand* the Insult Mentality.

As I said in my first message, I am amazed at the intensity with which some seem to be attacking long-established concepts of dignity, respect, courtesy, modesty, self-control and honor. This thread itself has attracted some of that.
