Nope, the file has to be open exclusivly to ZAP it, and since you have it open in two areas, no chance.

Why do you need to ZAP it anyway? ZAP isn't the greatest command to use in a production app anyway. I forget the reasoning, but I'm sure it was good :-) Can you just delete every record, and make sure to PACK it during reindexes or something?
