I'm currently "in negotiation" to develop a Japanese version of a project I recently completed.

Here's the deal:

[1] You need a Japanese version of Win9x/2000 - obvious.
[2] You need a Chinese version of VFP - not obvious, but there is no Japanese version of VFP. As a result, you won't be able to use any VFP system dialogs (e.g. GetFile(), GetPict(), etc.) A Chinese version can be used for the .RightToLeft property (UI controls) to work properly - for some reason, it doesn't work for the English version of VFP.
[3] You need Steve Black's INTL version 6.
