>It appears to me that one of the biggest advantages to frameworks is that they help with the early stages of creating a new application for developers who develop many applications. I on the other hand am just working on a very few applications which will take years to finish. Am I wrong about fraweworks or do they offer me less advantages than others receive?

I don't know if your statment about frameworks is valid or bogus, but I'm thinking that a good solid framework is an advantage for any kind of development.

I don't use any of the store bought framework. Since I'm the "Lone Ranger" VFP in my office I created my own framework (with a little help from Jim Booth video) that seem to be solid as well as flexible, besides, it was a great way to learn VFP. :)
