I can't say, but I doubt it. I imagine he tested anything that was to be included as a download or inline code and anything that caught his eye as questionable when he read it. He certainly raised plenty of issues with us (as we did with each other). FWIW, very few of them were OS-related.

I can promise you that the stuff that was new or changed in VFP 6 was tested a lot harder, but how hard should we have tested, say, @ GET, for HackFox 6? As it was, this book took us approximately 9 months to write (and that was starting with HackFox 3). I was devoting roughly half my workday to it, Ted somewhat less.

HackFox 3 took 14 months, start to finish.
