Hi Mike,
A have form that displays the results of a search that doesn't have any buttons at all. You click a row in the grid on the form to select the record or the 'X' to close it.
IAC, looking through what's running on my desktop right now (IE, Outlook98, and Explorer) None of them have close buttons, just the 'X' and a menu close item. Outlook's contact edit screen only has a 'Save and close' button, no cancel anywhere, you cancel through the 'X' or the menu.
How about editing a form or class in VFP, no buttons there either.

>>I can't think of a good reason to make the Cancel button a non-visible item. I do use forms where the X button is the one way to close the form.

>Why? Just curiousity. What does the form do?

About a dog, who found two bone.
He lick the one, he lick the other.
