Electronic books certainly seem like a trend of the future.

Last time I looked into getting an e-book reader the standards were not in place. It is my understanding that MicroSoft will be getting into this market soon (was it June 2000?).

If I were to buy an e-book reader, what would you recommend or should I wait a few more months?
