I'm not questioning anyone's professional standing or capabilities, only behavior (and I'm not mentioning anyone specifically). IMO, being a "professional" involves more than just technical or business acumen, but emcompasses one's behavior in public, especially in the company of peers, as well.
>Name calling and taunts with "polite" words is more polite than name calling with "nasty" words? Is that your point -- or were you just demonstrating by example that of which you disapprove?
What I've been finding more and more disappointing is the name calling and personal attacks that've been going on in this forum for the past several weeks (it's been going on a lot longer, but seems to have reached a fever pitch of late). I expect this kind of behavior from TV shows like "Jerry Springer" (which is just one of the reason I avoid shows like that) but not in a forum where professionals hang out to share ideas. I consider that type of behavior unprofessional and a waste of bandwidth.
