Yes. But what I am trying to emphasize here is that using OS() in Windows NT returns WINNT 4.0 while Win NT 4.0's default dir is WINNT, OS() in Windows 9x returns WINDOWS 4.0 and Win 9x's default dir is WINDOWS but in Win2K it returns WINDOWS while default dir is WINNT which confuses a user if he/she is not aware of the changes - combination of two words OS() = WINDOWS ; DIR = WINNT.
