Reports & Report designer
Chris,
I'm not sure. I had so much trouble with SET SKIP and having the proper table selected, and other newbie goofs that I abandoned anything but the one-cursor method several years ago.
With a single table/cursor, sorted in the correct order for your report, grouping is a breeze. Also, if the cursor name is not referred to in the report, you can throw any data at the report and it will work. This allows me to do special reports from the command window for my users.
>Thanks Cindy I'll try merging the two cursors into one and also try to count and display at the end of the report. When two tables/cursors are used can you make any complex grouping since each table can have only one active index at any one time ??? eg. Group by Branch then Accident Date.
