Whatever the customer is willing to pay ;-) Seriously though, I bill out at $120/hour for everything I do. That means they'll pay me $120/hour if I'm just installing Office or I'm configuring a router, or programming. I >know< I'm worth the money and won't waste their time or money; my customers must agree since none of them has ever complained. If I had to subcontract out something like that, their experience is my first priority, rate is second. I decide if their rate is reasonable based on my estimation of their ability. That way I don't end up paying someone $40/hour who takes two days to do something instead of $125/hour to someone who only takes two hours.
