Even though there should be a more elegant way of doing it, copying from the memo (as in COPY MEMO YADA TO MYDOC.DOC) works pretty well. I've used that for years going back to when we'd have WordPerfect / DOS 5.1 docs embedded in regular old 2.0 memo fields ... worked great, actually. Be sure to clean up and don't get in any version wars!
