Hi, just noticed this thread and it poses a few queries I've also had.

I also use parameterized views, just linked to a prent table and up to now, in the case of a 'mass' update, have tended to update the table directly.

If you use the Views only, wont this mean setting up an awful lot of views, presumably in the view designer in the datatbase ,and wont this create an overhead .... Is there any easy way of creating a view temporarily ?
