>I just installed the new version 6.0 of MicroMega's FoxFire! reporting tool, and could not be more impressed. For those of you (myself formerly included) who were worried that FoxFire was stagnating and would not be maintained into future versions, this should answer your questions clearly. The new UI has been completely reworked, and integrates better both visually and mechanically into your app, Forms and controls are now subclassed from FoxFire! base classes.
Erik, I've always liked FoxFire and have included it with a number of my apps, both the 2.6 DOS version and the 5.0 version.
I have been concerned that the 5.0 version was demonstratedly less stable in the field with more unexplained errors occurring. Have you noticed this?
It may be too early to say for 6.0 but what do you think about the ruggedness?
