I'd recommend you try the news server at devx - news.devx.com; there's a strong group of VB advocates there. Trolling for snackie-cakes tends to get one smacked about here.

FWIW, this segment of the UT is targeted at VFP; if you have VB issues, you'd be better off in the VB forum here. If you don't like that many of us talk favorably about VB in the VFP section, it has to do with the fact that we see it having an increasingly important role in the Visual Studio and Windows environments, and we'll neither turn a blind eye to it or not discuss it in a VFP context where appropriate.

If you don't like the fact that there isn't much discussion of VB here, go advertise the VB forum in places that might find people with a strong interest in VB as their principle platform and encourage them to use the VB forum here. It's not the VFP community's responsibility to make the VB community a happy bunch of people.
