You're referring to Foxpro/UNIX 2.6, almost identical to FP/DOS 2.6, and written specifically for SCO UNIX. Some have had success in tweaking it to work on other platforms. There is not and never will be a unix version of VFP.

You might try over at the MS newsgroups (probably in fox.programmer.exchange group under msnews server) for recent messages detailing the progress on making it work with LINUX. Last time I saw something posted about it, it sounded like most of the issues had been worked out.
