In a Word document, I have several graphics. So, the file is now at 18 megs. I would like to link those graphics to the file. So, they won't be saved in the document.

So, I removed the graphics from the document and I added them using the Insert Image and I checked the Link to file option. Now, when I save the document, it is still the same size. This didn't change anything. What am I missing?
