Even the computers will get it wrong over here in September when the government has decided to bring forward daylight savings for the Olympic games in Sept. We normally change over late October. (Spring starts in Sept. here :-)

>We had a dayling savings change last night. It is interesting to compare computer technology to any other peripherals you might have in your house.
>
>When that happens last night, my Windows '98 indicated that it was changed. Windows NT didn't send any notification but it did change it as well.
>
>Now, if you look at any other peripherals in your house. Why is it that the digital clock on the stove, the coffee machine, the video, and the alarm clock can't handle that by themselves. It's the same old story whenever their is a power off. The computers will boot up as is. However, those peripherals will loose the clock settings.
>
>As for the video, adjusting the settings requires us to power it on, use the remote, play with the menu and adjust it. It's more easy with the other peripherals. We are in modern technology time, right? Why is it like that? :)
