Hmm...must be an entirely different problem, with only the error code common (note that the error now says "contact microsoft support," so it's even mysterious to them). Mine has got to be primarily NT software-oriented, the way the problem is partitioned by user account type. I will have to test on a fresh NT machine to see if I can reproduce it...
