My sister-in-law just got a new clock that does handle the daylight savings time changes automatically. It also have two separate alarm settings, one for weekdays and one for weekends. This is different than the one we have that has two settings that are meant for two different people - you can set it to have either or both go off on any given day. Hers actually knows the day of the week and sets off the appropriate alarm for that day.
