1) You must have the VFP runtime on each computer that will run the Active Doc in its browser.
2) The computer running the Active Doc must have access somehow to the data tables on the server, meaning mapping a drive over the internet, which will be slow. If this is IntraNet only, maybe you'll be happy.
3) Data access could be by sending small recordsets (ADO, XML, data objects) over the Web via HTTP, created by a COM object running on the server. This may require extensive changes to your app, in which case converting to Active Doc may not be such a good idea after all.
