John,
I'd like to take a minute to thank you for being willing to stand up for standards. I know that in cases like this there will always be those who screech, moan, groan, gripe and complain about
any attempt to have a set of standards, rules and guidelines.
Usually they use "Freedom of Speech" as a cover for "Dissolution of Standards" or their own inability/unwillingness to behave in a socially responsible manner and, quite frankly, while I'm no fan whatsoever of restricting anyone's ability to say what they will in an open forum, this isn't an open forum. <g> I also do not believe that someone's "right" to say whatever filth is in their heart
requires me to have to listen and that's why a 'twit' filter is a good approach.
To those who may disagree with my position... I'm completely comfortable that you feel the way you do. I accept the notion that you may disagree with me and am at peace.
Best,
DD
