First, I could not find the instructions you specify on that site.
Second, I understand there is an emulator that will let you run DOS and (perhaps) some 16-bit Windows apps under Linux. As far as I know this emulator does not support Win32 apps such as VFP.
I wrote a small FPDOS utility for a client, who ran it in the Linux emulator. Ran fine.
