Thanks, actually it wasn't originally installed.
Looking at the requirements for MSDN Library Visual Studio 6.0, you need at least a 486/100 Mhz. Does such a thing exist? I've never heard of a 486 with more than a 66 Mhz CPU.
This struck me like an old farmer telling a younger farmer; "In order to pull your plow, you need at least a Unicorn - but if you don't have one of those then use a horse"
