I'm thinking about switching to view.

There is a problem:
the top level application pass a TableName which should be aliased as a BldMstr in a second-level application. This table should be proceed only on records, which met the predefined criteria. Right now I'm using filter, but I found, that it makes this form too long to Load and operations are also very slow. So, I'm thinking, is it possible to create an updatable view in BeforeOpenTable of DE and use this view aliased as BldMstr instead of table? This view would be based just on one table. So, would be here perfomance advantage?
