>I would consider manipulating the LBX on my own if I had a little more info. I have a copy of the .LBX Table Structure fro VFP 5 so I can more or less figure out what the fields are for. Does anyone know what the values for "OBJCODE" mean? Also, does anyone know how to parse out the numbers in the DATA field of the LABELS.DBF so I can fill the appropriate fields in the LBX file (height, width, margins, etc.)? I would need to create an LBX file for any Avery format. Thanks for any help!

Elyse,
Here's what I know. OBJTYPE 1, OBJCODE 53 is the layout of the label, including what looks to be initialization code for the printer. OBJTYPE 9 (should be 3 or 5 of them) represent the various bands, OBJCODE 1 is the header; 2 the column header; 4 the detail band, 6 the column footer, and 7 the page footer. OBJTYPE 5 (always OBJCODE 0) are text labels. OBJCODE 8 fields or expressions. Additional OBJTYPEs have to do with the data, I believe.
I regards to width and height. Using 10 pt Courier New (the default) each character is 833.33 units wide by 104.167 high. Horizontal and vertical positions are similarly mapped.
