I'm guessing that they're doing things in such a way that the new OOP features will be pretty much optional, and that won't break existing apps. Anything else would be suicide.

VB users have been "doing OOP" since 95. They'll not be facing the all-or-nuthin challenge FoxFolk had to deal with. All MS is doing is tossing in another form of inheritance to placate the whiners -- the rest of us will continue making (bundles of) money either way. <bg>
