Reports & Report designer
Jeffrey,
I might have a solution. Our company has encountered similar problems. The problem lies in the first record of the actual .FRX. You need to remove code
from EXPR, TAG, and TAG2 records of the .FRX. FoxPro Advisor had a nice article on this in recent issue, however, I will have to look it up at the office. In essence VFP ties your report to the printer you developed on at design time not runtime. We actually use a project hook during build to remove EXP, TAG, and TAG2 .FRX files. This may get you on the right track. You can get the layouts to the .FRX files by opening up the project 60spec.pjx in the c:\ProgramFiles\MicrosftVisualStudio\VFP98\Filespec directory. Once the project is open go to documents then preview and or print the layouts to the .FRX.
