I have....when I tried it yesterday, it let me in. Trying it again this morning, it worked as I thought it should - I could not get into an open file. I tested this by doing a report to a printer file where I stop the report part way through by a call to a UDF() that sits out there stopped via INKEY(). I cannot tell for sure if it "works" because a) the file is open or b) the file is there on the disk but it has a size of zero.

Anyone else with knowledge or ideas would still be appreciated as I am not sure that this is 100% solved.
