I didn't try the network setup version so I don't know what are the 8 steps you're talking about but by copying the "Disk144" directory (generated for disks setup) on the network drive the \disk1\setup.exe program ran all alone after asking the user name, installation path and confirmation.
So basically only 3 or 4 clicks of the mouse.
Is that better??
