The intent to insult is carried, and in most cases, it's a matter of manipulating the language to avoid a few naughty little fricatives that upset so many. It's at least as unpleasant, and perhaps more so, since someone thought about calling some a < expletive deleted > < mental insufficiency reference omitted > and made a substitution that carries the intended insult.
In addition to "The UT List of Nasty Word" we need a list of acceptable substitutes, with translations into a number of languages...
