You don't have to dock the project manager, you do have to roll it up to toolbar size though using the little arrow button. Then as Nick described click on a tab and drag it off. You can only resize the window using the lower right corner but the system does remember your size settings. You can right menu click an item to do 99% of what you normally do in the PM. Editting an item is just a double click. Running a form can be done from the rightclick menu. There is a Tools/Option setting that controls whether double click does edit or run.
