Marcia might have read the private message, because Andy (he's one of the sysops on the CompuServe forum) and Marcia are almost married...

As for reading private messages... We sysops on the CompuServe forum have NO possibility to read any private messages except those sent to us or to SYSOP privately. If you sent a private message, only you or the receipient can make it public. In addition, you can delete any private message after you've read it. This ensures that no-one can read this message ever again.
