Hi Jim --

>The sysops have decided, I believe in the best interest of everyone, to keep the warning process private. No one except the person warned will ever know that they were warned (unless they decide to go public with it).

Question of order, if I may? If a sysop feels s/he's the target of a flame, is said sysop considered capable of issueing an official warning, or do the sysops as a group consider it the better part of valor for said sysop to request an impartial 3rd-party sysop to consider the circumstances and decide on the appropriateness of a warning. IOW, is there a mechanism in place to prevent "hurt feelings" from interfering with professional judgement?

Thanks... Karl
