Not to be overly picky, but this just sounds a tad incestuous, no? Why not make it a Rule that a sysop shouldn't be issuing warnings based on someone calling s/he a "freaking maroon"? (Substitute your own choice of obscenities there, as I f*uck*ng r*f*s* to use asterisks in a transparent attempt at decency). That way, you could all hold your heads up just a little bit higher. But if this isn't considered a best practice approach, I do believe you're all diminished.
