This is a SWAG but we did have a similar problem. Our problem was in the mousemove, not the resize (it was returning incorrect X and Y coordinates), but this may be what is happening in the resize. We resolved it by making the ActiveX control invisible while resizing and then making it visible again afterward. HTH
