Does anybody know if it is possible to avoid a file open dialog and instead force a VFP error in cases where a file does not exist in a SELECT statement?

For example, if I issue: SELECT * FROM Dummy, and there is not a DUMMY.DBF, the program stops with a file open dialog. This is not desirable in an Automation Server situation that can handle a file not found error much better than a permanant wait state.
