>This sounds like what I had posted, the infamous "GOLDEN RULE". However, Ed Rauh would say that the real golden rule is "Them that has the GOLD makes the rules". :)
Andy, this is meant somewhat toungue in cheek, but also recognizes the difference between a forum by a private individual who bears the cost of operation. It's his board, and he's entitled to set the grounds for using his site. I go to restaurants who won't serve me without proper attire - whether tee shirt and flip-flops or tie and jacket. They can refuse service to people because the people asking service will not meet the necessary standards for receiving service.
I don't have to like it - in fact, if I don't, I can express my inalienable right to vote with my feet and not return. I can fail to recommend that others come here. I can promote a competitor, or try to compete and offer a better service. Lots of options. But not being an owner, you don't set the rules for the service. I firmly believe that the owner sets the basis of operation. He has the expense, and enjoys any benefits of income from the operation.
