Check and ensure the MSCOMCTL.OCX file is not flagged read-only in your distribution, and that the client system does not already have a more recent copy of MSCOMCTL.OCX installed. Also, check to ensure you have write permissions in the System directory and all parts of the registry if running under NT or Win2K.
