Indeed, it does. CompuServe used a different authentifcation software before called Virtual Key or RPA. I'm not sure you can safely uninstall it without affecting your CompuServe 2000 account, but you might tray to rename the RPA.DLL probably in your System directory to RPA.OLD and restart your browser.
