I need some help to figure out what's the usual way for the below situation.

i have two tables and two forms.I have a toolbar with navigational buttons and add,save,delete,exit buttons also.

I want to use this standard toolbar in both the forms,depending upon the form it will call the procedures for update or delete,

My question is should i use procedures or database triggers for update or delete (Its a multi user environment).Which one is more effective and fast.

Is there any class for this kind of operations ? (VPF's FFC has only navigational buttons but not the update or delete buttons).
