We have used the built in controls that come with Windows 98 and NT with no "major" problems. However, the one problem we had when we distributed the exe file the program would not work with a couple of Win 95 machines since Microsoft apparently changes the controls slightly with each version Windows.
On NT they are the Wang image controls on Win98 they are the Kodak image controls am not sure what they are under 95.
